I have a quarter horse mare who is by war creek (imp usa).?

I am trying to find out a bit more about war creek. I have his pedigree but I'm trying to find results ( i believe he was a cutter) and also pictures of him. I know that this could be difficult as he is long dead but its still worth a try. :)

War Creek, 69 sorrel Stallion out of War Leo %26 Beaveretta, has no records with the NCHA (cutting) or with the AQHA. If he was shown, it was not in sanctioned shows. Every horse on the dams side was not shown or raced and have no records.
His sire, grand sire, great grand sire %26 great great grand sire were all raced and War Leo, SI 75 was also shown in Halter- 72 points and 192 perforance points. War Star had a SI of 95, was raced 47 times %26 had 16 wins. His lifetime earnings were $10250 which was pretty good for late 1940's!
Nicely bred horse.
My family used to raise quarter horses and I believe that War Creek was a cutting horse. Some times you can go to the old Stud Books and do some researching there , it may help you. Good luck.
Your best bet is the American Quarter Horse Association, which may be able to provide you a list of owners - start with the last owner of War Creek. Then ask who he bougt him from, and go from there. Unless he is a very popular and well-known stud whose offpring has won a lot, or he has won a lot, you may not find much online.
