I have a Paso Fino and a Peruvian Paso with blood line so close why are there gaits so different.?

Although they came from the same original background, when the Peruvian Pasos came to South America they were isolated for approximately 400 years on the other side of the Andes mountains. There they were bred for their incredible gait and personality. However, Peru is very mountainous country and in order to get around the landowners preferred the smooth, ground covering gait of the Paso and that's what they bred for. Also, because a lot of Peru is at high elevation, the horses also developed greater lung capacity and a well-sprung rib cage (making them really round horses).
The Paso Finos, however, are descended from the horses that were brought to the Carribean Islands. Their gait is similar, but they don't have the outward swing of the front feet nor do they have the overreach with the hind feet that the Peruvians do. The Finos didn't have to climb mountains and didn't have the same severe conditions as the Peruvians, so their body types are somewhat different.
The Peruvians just had more ground to cover than the Finos, and I think that was probably one of the biggest factors influencing the preferred gait whcih was selectively bred for.
It's because Paso Finos and Peruvian Paso's are different breeds. They both formed from Andalusian, the Barb, and the Spanish Jennet. A Peruvian Paso also had Friesan in it's blood lines.
They are so close yet so different because of evolution. They both were taught new things, like gaits, and used for different purposes. So that's why they have a totally different gait.

They are completely differnt breeds, and even though they are both gaited it is different types of gaits. Bloodlines wouldnt effect gaits much in this case.

gait the Paso Fina inherits that, when they are Pervuvian Paso they inherit different things in there genes
