I absolutely love shires and clydesdales. Does anybody know of a good breeder to buy from in the uk?

There are many draft breed mares that are used to produce urine for the manufacture of insulin for humans. They are retired after several years and need homes. I suggest contacting your national breed registries; they will have the info you need.
Contact the breed societies, they'll be able to give you names of reputable breeders:

Not in the UK, but I know a beautiful horse in the US. Check out the address.

Hi it might be worth looking in horse and hound in the horses for sale. If you look in horse and hound near the stud season there are normally loads of studs offering.
Go to your local equestrian shop they will know of any breeders in the area, other than that the Internet .
It's really had to tell what your specific needs are.
I would recommend two really good websites ( both of which you select you preference)
www.horsemart.co.uk and www.horsequest.co.uk
there are also a lot of magazines you could buy
hope this helps
